qSTC Cloud Technologies Training »OpenStack™ Fundamentals«

OpenStack™established itself as the leading IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) platform on which hundreds of clouds are built around the world. They range from smaller private clouds to large public  clouds. As companies and institutions across the world see the value of OpenStack for their cloud strategy, now is the time for IT professionals to expand their knowledge from operating systems and virtualisation to cloud platforms.

OpenStack, with its adoption rate and broad community, may well be the best bet in which to invest for the future professional success.

As powerful as the OpenStack software is, we know first hand it takes a lot more than software to properly design, deploy, and operate a cloud at scale. qSTC is delivering a hands-on training courses for OpenStack developers and administrators. This Initial course covers the fundamentals of setting up, administering, and troubleshooting OpenStack clouds, all with real-world situations in a training lab environment.

OpenStack Fundamentals Training

The current training course offered by qSTC is a three-day OpenStack Cloud Fundamentals class. Approximately  two days of the course will be focused on OpenStack Compute (Nova) and Image Service (Glance) and about one day OpenStack Object Storage (Swift).

Because the classes provide hands-on training with real situations in a training lab environment, they are limited to 14 students per session. Typically, we have one instructor leading the course with the instructor assistant available to offer individual help.
